2nd Wednesdays
Meets: Jan 14, NO Feb, NO March, April 8, May 13, June 10, July 8, NO Aug, Sep 9, NO Oct, Nov, Dec
10:00-11:00am - Developing Your Story Workshop (In-Person)
Assignment MUST be done prior to attending
Assignment: Create a one page bullet outline for your story, Include setting, plot. conflict. theme (beginning, middle, end). You will be delivering a 1-2 minute elevator pitch to the camera during the session.
11:00 - 12:30pm - Creating Audio Stories for Kids Workshop (In-Person)
Assignment: Write a one page third-person story with at least two characters. Record yourself on your phone reading it as all parts
Activity: Review and developing your story
12:00-1:00pm - Podcasting Essentials Workshop (In-Person)
Assignment: Create an opening, closing, and sponsor break and bring it to the session
Activity: Record your 15 minute podcast with another person in the workshop
Podcasts may be used in the NCM distribution, as well as your own use

10:00 - 11:00am - Voice Acting Essentials Workshop (In-Person)
Assignment: Please select one Narrative OR Commercial Script and practice it prior to attending the in-person session
Activity: Recording voice over scripts
12:00 - 1:00pm - Video Creation Essentials Workshop (In-Person)
Assignment: Create at least one 5x5 video with no dialog & one 10x10 with dialog. Bring this to the session on your cell phone
Activity - 5x5 / 10x10 / B-Roll Capture (You must have a cellphone to participate in this activity)
4:00 - 5:30pm - Photography Workshop (In-Person)
There is no assignment with this workshop. This is a hands-on, learn as you do activity
Activity - Long exposure photo shoot activity

3:00 - 4:00pm - Understanding Equipment & Positions Workshop (In-Person)
Activity: Running production for scripted acting performance.
4:00 - 5:30pm - Film Crew & Acting Workshop (In-Person)
Activity: Running production for scripted acting performance.
